Hello! My name is Jane. I have red hair, blue eyes, and am really good at telling lies.
I am from the lovely state of California but currently I am attending college in Oregon where it rains. A lot. When I’m not in the saddle I am singing to whatever song is currently stuck in my head. This blog is a collection of things that I adore, whether it be cupcakes, jewelry, sparkly dresses, nail polish, fashion models, horses, or celebrities. It is a constantly growing collection.
I have had a lifelong passion for animals, and the goal I am working towards right now is becoming a zoo keeper. This has been a dream of mine for a long time. I am fortunate to have been given the opportunity to travel to Europe quite a bit in my childhood. I’ve been to: England (12 times! don’t judge), Ireland, Sweden (my favorite place), Norway, Italy, France, and Canada. The place I want to visit most though is the Galapagos. Also, I speak Latin. Yup.
I’ve been riding horses for 8+ years now. I started in 3 day eventing but three years ago transitioned into classical dressage and natural horsemanship at Bottomley Equestrian Center in CA. Dressage has revolutionized my life. I have fallen in love with a charming bay, half-Arabian gelding named Chance. He has recently been donated to the UC Davis equestrian team, as my trainer is selling her barn and most of her horses, so if you go to school there be sure and visit him! I recently found a wonderful dressage trainer at school and I am so thrilled to be riding with her (no more of that hunter/jumper nonsense!)
I am intrigued by many things, all of which you find in the pages of this blog.
If you want to know more…
Put it in my ask, I love to talk.
